What the Road to Okotoks Is
The Road to Okotoks is Baseball Canada's national championship. Teams qualify through three regional tournaments, one each in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario, and sixteen come out of them. Those sixteen meet at Seaman Stadium in Okotoks, Alberta, home of the Okotoks Dawgs, and play for the Morneau Cup. It's wood bat and it's best on best, with scouts and college coaches in the stands, and Baseball Canada's under-18 Junior National Team watching too.
The 2026 Run. The Cardinals went 6-1 at the BC qualifier in 2026 and reached the final. They brought home the finalists' trophy. They qualified for Okotoks, and were one of the sixteen at the national championship.
